On behalf of the organizers of the WV World Language Showcase, I would like to extend a warm invitation to you to attend this inaugural celebration of language and culture at Fairmont State University on Friday, April 4, at 9:00 AM.
This exciting event will feature Mandarin, French, Italian, and Spanish students from across the state as they showcase their linguistic and cultural talents through performances and competitions. Students will participate in skits, singing, dancing, poetry recitations, trivia, and speech competitions, demonstrating the importance of world languages in education and their role in shaping globally competent citizens.
Your presence would be a great honor as we celebrate the dedication and achievements of our students in world languages. We hope you can join us in supporting and encouraging these young learners as they embrace the richness of linguistic and cultural diversity.
