
Please join us for a special concert featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Carol Markstrom in the Wallman Hall Theater. Attendees are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $10 at the door, with all proceeds benefitting the Wesley Foundation's initiatives.
Carol Markstrom, based in Tucson, Arizona, is renowned for her evocative blend of Americana, folk, and Western roots music. Her latest album, "Mile After Mile," received the Western Album of the Year award from the Academy of Western Artists. Critics have lauded her work, with Country Music People Magazine describing it as "a terrific release from a major singer." Markstrom's newly released album, "Seekers," is a collection of 12 original songs, some award-winning, and all on aspects of Native American history and cultures.
Beyond her musical achievements, Markstrom is also an accomplished author and scholar, with a deep interest in Native American history and culture. Her performances are known for their storytelling and emotional depth, transporting audiences to different times and places.
